Lake Winnipesaukee | Pet Friendly | Fire Pit

Perfect location - Overall worked well for our family reunion Positive: Location was perfect for us-close to the lake (really nice views from the house), Fay’s boat yard, apple picking at Smith’s and Laconia. Grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Plenty of beds for our large group of 11. Kitchen, dining table and refrigerator were good size. The kids LOVED the pool table and fire pit. Negative: Fireplace did not work properly. They finally had someone come out on our third day and it still wasn’t properly fixed. Also no lighting out back except for the string lights by the fire pit but there was no plug at all in the back yard and their extension cord was nowhere to be found. We ended up buying our own and taking it home with us. Property management company seemed a bit unorganized. House smelled a bit musty overall. We had a few days of lovely fall weather and opened windows as much as we could. Beds, esp the king sized beds, were not particularly comfortable. Odd request…could have really used a lot more than 2 dish towels and one more lobster pot (12 guests=12-15 lobsters and a LOT of dishes!)

Perfect for large family gathering

The house was beautiful and very spacious. Rooms were clean. Patti was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation experience. Thank you!

Main bummer was total lack of access to the lake. The new “residents only” stipulations should be on the listing. Parking anywhere has become a stink show. When did being a guest become a persona non grata?

House was awesome! location was awesome! Hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Will book again!
